I just found this incredible video about the history of the Merwin & Hulbert Revolvers made by the Rock Island Auction Company! I can only say ''WOW!''
This nice Merwin & Hulbert single action revolver with Ivory grips and the skull crusher grip was for sale on Antique Handguns Marketplace (AntiqueGunsCollectors.com), but unfortunately it was sold a little while back.
Keep an eye on Antique Handguns Marketplace for some fine antique revolvers for sale!
This Merwin & Hulbert Second Model was manufactured by Hopkins & Allen, another manufacturer of fine revolvers in the late 1800's. This particular model was a 5 shot in .38 M&H caliber, and was a favorite during the Old West.
That Merwin & Hulbert revolver animation video is very nice and makes you understand the unique mechanism of a Merwin & Hulbert revolver, in this case the Model 2 with the skull crusher.
